Intended Use:

This kit is used for in-vitro test of nucleic acid (DNA) extracted from food, blood, feces and other samples or isolated bacterial culture and single colony pathogens, including Listeria monocytogenes, Listeria spp. and Salmonella. Not intended for clinical diagnosis.

Test Principle:

Real-time PCR assay. The specific primers and fluorescent probes were designed based on the specific regions of Listeria monocytogenes, Listeria spp. and Salmonella.

Equipment Required:

Roche LightCycler 480 II, ABI 7500 , Bio-Rad CFX96 or other real-time PCR instruments (with FAM, HEX/VIC/JOE and Cy5 channels).

Sample Material

The common samples are DNA extracted from food, blood, feces and other samples or isolated bacterial culture and single colony pathogens. Samples can be detected immediately. If not detected, samples can stored at -20℃ for 3 months or below -70℃ for longer time.

Performance Characters Sensitivity: 

Sensitivity: The LOD of the assay is 1,000 CFU/mL.

Specification: Negative for pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Acinetobacter baumannii, Serratia marcescens, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Candida albicans, Klebsiella oxytoca, Haemophilus parainfluenzae, Enterobacter aerogenes, Neisseria meningitidis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Candida glabrata, Candida tropicalis, etc. Accuracy of enterprise reference samples are 100%. CV(%) ≤5%

Storage and Expiry:

The YZB1712L Lyophilized Reagent should be stored at a temperature between 4℃ to 30°C. The positive control and negative control should be stored at a temperature between -25℃ to -15°C. Stable at least 12 months. Transported at room temperature. Use the Lyophilized Reagent as soon as possible after opening the small packet. See packaging for expiration date.
