Northwest Biology's self-developed MegaGel™ series ion exchange chromatography media are based on polymer PS-DVB (polystyrene-divinylbenzene copolymer), which is mechanically strong, chemically stable, and has an open pore structure, with standard, large, and GIGAPOROUS pores for selection. The surface hydrophilicity modification makes it low in non-specific adsorption; the surface functionalisation design makes it high flow velocity, high resolution and high loading capacity. It is suitable for the separation and purification of biomolecules such as monoclonal antibodies and virus vaccines.
Chemical stability: All common buffers, 1M acetic acid, 1M sodium chloride oxide, 1M hydrochloric acid, 70% ethanol, 30% isopropanol, 30% acetonitrile, 1% SDS, 6M guanidine hydrochloride, 8M urea and other common organic solvents; avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents.
Application Scenarios: Purification of antibodies, viruses, vaccines and other biomolecules.
