1. Crysto Shell consists of an activated ligand core and an inert shell layer.
2. The pore size of the shell layer is smaller than that of the core, and the thickness of the shell layer is about 5 pm, which can prevent proteins with molecular weight >400/700kDa from entering the core layer, thus preventing large viral molecules from entering the medium.
3. The core part is activated by octylamine groups to achieve the dual function of anion exchange + hydrophobic interaction.
4. It can rapidly capture and remove heterogeneous proteins smaller than virus particles, and can effectively remove host cell proteins, DNAR segments, endotoxin, albumin and other impurities in the proposed purification system.
Application Scenarios:
Purification of viruses and biomolecules.
